Highlights of the Modus Union Parisian Art Party

Last Thursday, I was one of 23 artists who participated in the Modus Union Parisian Art Party, a fundraiser sponsored by Art Whino and Labels for Love to benefit Cancer Schmancer.   Labels for Love is the foundation created by Mary Amos, one of the Real Housewives of DC.  Cancer Schmancer is the organization founded by actress Fran Drescher (The Nanny) with a focus on cancer prevention.

The event was held at the “Lumber Yard”, an unfinished building on the edge of the Potomac River in southwest Washington, DC.  In addition to the artwork that lined up the heated interior’s perimeter, there were food samples from various restaurant vendors, live art, a trapeze demonstration and live music.  Mary Amos played host throughout the evening.

Below are some highlights from the event.
