Join the Millennium Arts Salon and the artists of the “Ten Artists for Ten Years” exhibition to discuss their art and the DC art scene under the topic “Where We Are” on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 6:30 pm until 8:30 p.m. at the Charles Sumner School Museum and Archives. The museum is located at 17th and M Streets, NW, in Washington, DC. Participants include Gwen Aqui, Frank Smith, Chris Malone, moderated by Phillip Barlow, Collector and MAS Board Member.
“Ten Artists for Ten Years” celebrates the 10 plus years of the The Millennium Arts Salon and features emerging and mid-career artists in the Washington, DC area. Artists include Gwen Aqui, Anne Marchand, Doris Colbert Kennedy, Billy Colbert, Sonya Lawyer, Chris Malone, Michael Singletary, Frank Smith, Elsa Gebreyesus, and Victor Ekpuk. The exhibition is curated by Sharon J. Burton of Authentic Contemporary Art.
