Join BestKids.org for their second annual auction to support DC foster care youth! They will be auctioning off art pieces (such as the limited edition art print “Believe” and the poetry anthology by Liberated Muse which appears on the cover)  as well as a variety of other products and services, all with our kids in mind!

The Art of the Matter is not just a fundraising event for BEST Kids, but it is a celebration of art that involves their entire BEST Kids family.   Several of their mentees and their mentors are participating in a variety of workshops related to the arts including painting, music lessons, and photography in preparation for this celebration.   In addition to our other auction items, they will be selling prints of art that our mentees created.

The Mission of BEST Kids is to promote better futures for youth in the District of Columbia’s child welfare system by developing and supporting one-on-one mentoring relationships between the youth and caring, consistent adults.
