Kicking Off Art Every Day Month 2015 #AEDM2015

Well, today is the first day of Art Every Day Month for 2015.  This is an annual challenge to get artists such as myself motivated to get back into the studio (I call it my “lab”) and either create or finish artwork.

Although work may or may not appear here “everyday”, know that this site will be alive and kicking during this month as I work on some series and begin others during the month of November.

I usually don’t create anything during the first day, but for some reason, after a long day of working on other stuff, I actually did!  Below is the latest of my “Legacy Series” of wooden fans in honor of the ancestors and others that came before us.  It is a mixed media piece which now makes number 3 in the series.  Maybe I might get this series finished this year…who knows?
