Winter (a poem)

Join me and J. L. Smith for this self paced virtual workshop where you will have the chance to “play” with poetry by learning how to create your own poem using the “Black Out Poetry” technique and then review classic and contemporary works by Maryland poets and create and share a response. Using the creative and playful techniques provided, the novice as well as the seasoned poet will have a foundation for creating their own works. In the end, everyone will have an opportunity to share their works they created in response.
This workshop is a part of 2020 The Write Women Book Fest. The festival was held virtually this year and will be offered an array of virtual workshops on a variety of platforms from September 21-26, 2020. Presentations, readings, and panels covered a variety of literary topics by women authors, poets and writers.
